Mamaroneck Emergency Medical Service (MEMS), originally founded in 1973 as a Fire Department Rescue Squad, has been proudly serving the Village of Mamaroneck, Rye Neck, and its surrounding communities for the past forty years. Staffed by over 65 volunteers, Mamaroneck EMS is a non-profit, non-government organization, committed to ensuring high-quality patient care, protecting the health and safety of our neighbors. Mamaroneck EMS operates one advanced life support (ALS) ambulance 24 hours a day, 365 days per year, and utilizes a basic life support ambulance, fly car, and utility vehicle for community events, standbys, and to provide additional support during emergencies.
