DRIVER

Attendants or EMTs wishing to pursue the driving certification program will enroll with a designated driver trainer.

EMT

Certified in Basic Life Support treatment, EMTs handle the majority of emergency calls. Join certified or get trained for free!

Experienced Paramedics seeking employment should contact the Town of Mamaroneck Ambulance District for information.

Attendants are critical members in training who will ride with EMTs and Paramedics to provide assistance on every call.

REQUIREMENTS

16 YEARS OLD OR OLDER

We require all active-duty members to be at least 18 years or older to join as a member or 16 to join our Junior Corps Program.

US CITIZENSHIP

To apply for any position at Mamaroneck Emergency Medical Service you must be a citizen of the
United States or a lawful permanent resident.

AVAILABILITY

Members are required to commit to at least 6 hours per week, attend monthly meetings/training nights, and obtain their BLS CPR certification. Members must be available to complete an uninterrupted six month probationary period.

CLEAN BACKGROUND

We require all candidates to undergo screening and have a clean criminal record and background before application approval.
